This is a standard size sewing awl handle measuring 90mm (3.5") long.
This handle is turned from beech and fitted with a metal ferrule, ready to be fitted with a traditional saddlers sewing awl blade, as seen in related products below.
To fit an awl blade, you will need the use of a bench vice. Short videos showing how to fit an awl blade can be easily found on Youtube.
