Information

This is a lovely comfortable oval sewing awl handle measuring 95mm (3.75") long.  (Oval refers to its egg shape as viewed from the side. This is a round, lathe turned handle)

This handle is turned from beech, varnished and fitted with a metal ferrule, ready to be fitted with a traditional saddlers sewing awl blade, as seen in related products below.

To fit an awl blade, you will need the use of a bench vice. Short videos showing how to fit an awl blade can be easily found on Youtube.
