This is a 3/4" (19mm) cast brass Deep D Ring, ideal for use on dog collars, handbags etc. Cast metalwork is much stronger than wire formed, and it's well worth knowing the difference, especially where strength is important to safety, such as with dog collars and horse tack.
3/4" (19mm) is the internal measurement along the flat side of the D Ring. Internally, these Ds have a depth of 17.9mm from the straight bar to the centre of the curve.
