This is a 5/8" (16mm) cast brass D Ring, ideal for use on dog collars, handbags etc. Cast metalwork is far stronger than wire formed, and it's well worth knowing the difference, especially where strength is important to safety, such as with dog collars and horse tack.
5/8" (16mm) is the internal measurement along the flat side of the D Ring. The internal depth is 14.4mm from the straight bar to the centre of the curve.
