This is an extra large sewing awl, produced by Barnsley & Co in Sheffield.
Housed in an oval walnut wood handle is a sturdy diamond profile stitching awl blade, ideal for sewing large stitches through thick layers.

Blade - Protrudes 45mm (1 3/4") from the handle and has a diamond profile 1.8mm thick x 3.2mm wide.
