This is a top quality London Tan English bridle back, produced by Sedgwicks of Walsall using traditional tree bark tanning methods.
It is approximately 4mm thick and plenty strong enough for horse tack, dog leads and much more.
A 'bridle back' is longer than a bridle butt, as it includes the neck portion of the cow hide as well as the shoulder to tail section.
Our current stock measures 190cm / 75".
We sell this leather in strips that are cut straight from the hide. They are unfinished, ie the edges of the strips have not been treated or polished in any way.
