This is a truly top quality, full grain vegetable tanned cowhide. It is 2.8-3mm thick and is very well finished on both front and back.
This leather is through dyed so the core and reverse are also dark tan.
Vegetable tanned leather is receptive to wet moulding, making it ideal for moulded cases and knife sheaths among its many other uses.
