This is a good quality, small sized nickel plated trigger hook with swivel, ideal for handbag straps.
The overall length of the whole hook is just under 2 1/4" (55mm) and the eye at the base of the clip is designed to fit a 1/2" (12mm) strap of leather or webbing.
