This is a 150ml jar of Gum Tragacanth. It's the perfect thing to use to smooth and polish cut edges of thicker veg tanned leathers when making items such as belts, dog collars or knife cases.
Applied to cut edges with a wool dauber and left to soak into the leather for a minute or two, the edge of the leather can then be polished to a smooth finish using an edge slicker, bone folder or a piece of non-stretchy cotton or linen cloth.
